  • 125 gm Mushrooms, (4oz)
  • 1 x Red pepper
  • 1 x Green pepper
  • 1 x Yellow pepper
  • 1 x Red onion
  • 250 gm Tofu, (8oz)
  • 3 Tbsp. Dark soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Medium dry sherry
  • 2 tsp Dark brown soft sugar
  • 1 x Clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 tsp Five spice pwdr

Direcciones

  1. Clean the mushrooms and slice in half lengthways. Deseed the peppers and cut into 2. 5cm (1 inch) pcs. Peel the onion and cut into 8 pcs.
  2. Cut the tofu into 2. 5cm (1 inch) pcs.
  3. Mix the marinade ingredients together, add in the tofu, toss well and leave to marinade for 20 min. Drain, reserving the marinade.
  4. Thread the vegetable pcs and marinated tofu alternately onto skewers.
  5. Place under a preheated moderate grill for 8-10 min, turning and basting with the reserved marinade occasionally.
  6. Notes:Alternately suitable for barbecues.
  7. NOTES : Tasty kebabs suitable for a vegan diet that are quick and easy to make.
