Receta Turkey Stuffing

Ingredientes
- 1 c. butter
- 2 c. celery, minced
- 2 c. onion, minced
- 2 c. fresh mushrooms
- 2 Packages Pepperidge Farm stuffing mix (12 ounce. herb mix & 12 ounce. cornbread mix)
- 1/2 c. minced parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 3/4 c. dry white wine
- 1 1/4 c. chicken broth
- 2 cans water chestnuts, minced
- Variation: crumbled cooked sausage
Direcciones
- Heat 1 stick butter, add in celery and onions. Stir till tender. Add in mushrooms, saute/fry. Stir in stuffing mix and seasonings. Pour in wine, warm chicken broth and toss lightly. Add in chestnuts. Stuff turkey. Cook remainder in oven with turkey, then mix with stuffing in turkey when finished.
