Receta Whole Grain Apple Muffins

Ingredientes
- 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp. baking pwdr
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 c. Nutri-Grain cereal (any variety)
- 1 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. finely minced apples
- 3 tbsp. vegetable oil
Direcciones
- Stir together flour, baking pwdr, salt, cinnamon and sugar. Set aside. Combine Nutri-Grain cereal and lowfat milk in large mixing bowl. Let stand till cereal is softened, about 5 min. Add in egg and oil. Beat well. Add in flour mix, stirring only till combined. Stir in apple. Portion batter proportionately into 12 greased 1 1/2" muffin tins. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 min or possibly till lightly browned. Serve hot. Yield: 12 muffins.
