Receta Winter Beef & Vegetable Cobbler with Sour Cream & Chive Biscuits
Ingredientes
- 2 lbs flank steak, one inch cubed
- Salt and Pepper
- 1/4 cup flour for dusting
- 3-4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 ounce dried porcini mushrooms
- 1 cup hot water
- 1 large onion, diced
- 2 carrots, diced
- 3 gloves garlic, minced
- 2 ribs celery, diced
- 1 parsnip, diced
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves, chopped
- 1 teaspoon fresh oregano leaves, chopped
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh Italian parsley
- 1 cup red wine
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 teaspoons Dijon Mustard
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Sour Cream and Chive Biscuits (recipe follows)
- 1 cup self rising flour, 1/4 cup for rolling out
- 6 tablespoons very cold butter, diced
- 8 ounce sour cream
- 1-2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh chives
