- 1 bag frzn cherries - (12 ounce)
- 1/4 c. golden brown raisins
- 1/4 c. apple brandy (Apple Jack brand recommended)
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp grnd cinnamon
- 1 pch grnd cloves
- 4 slc store-bought angel food cake
- 1/2 c. lowfat sour cream
Direcciones
- Combine the cherries, raisins, apple brandy, butter, sugar, and spices in a medium saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Cook till butter is melted and sauce has thickened, about 5 min.
- Put the angel food cake slices on 4 plates, and top each with a scoop of cherry sauce and a dollop of lowfat sour cream.
- This recipe yields 4 servings.
