  • 6 x Skinless, split chicken breasts
  • 1 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
  • 1 x Clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 jar Chicken Tonight Cooking Sauce for Chicken Sweet and Sour
  • 1/3 c. Apricot preserves
  • 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 c. Minced dry apricots
  • 1/4 tsp Crushed red pepper
  •     Warm, cooked rice

Direcciones

  1. In a large skillet, thoroughly brown chicken on all sides in vegetable oil.
  2. Add in garlic; saute/fry lightly. Drain fat. In a medium bowl, combine sauce with apricot preserves, Dijon mustard, dry apricots and crushed red pepper.
  3. Proportionately pour over chicken in skillet. Simmer, covered, 45 min over low heat, or possibly till chicken is thoroughly cooked. Serve over warm, cooked rice.
