Hi Linda,
Glad you liked the Pizza Casserole. :)
I don't have a specific poppy seed roll recipe, sorry. I'm not very good with yeast breads; however, I do have a good yeast roll recipe from my mother-in-law. I haven't had the chance to make it, but I think it would be good with some poppy seeds sprinkled on top. Here's the recipe:
Quick Yeast Rolls
3 cups presifted flour, 1 envelope active dry yeast, 1 cup lukewarm water, 1/4 cup liquid shortening (I think this is just shortening that's been melted), 1 Tbsp sugar, 1 egg, 1 tsp salt, 1 Tbsp poppy seeds (I am estimating the amount of seeds here since it's not in my MIL's recipe)
Measure 2 cups flour into a mixing bowl; set aside. Into a blender, put yeast, water, and remaining cup of flour; cover. Blend 20 seconds on "Mix" speed. With motor on, remove cover and add remaining ingredients. When mixture is smooth, press "off." Pour mix into mixing bowl with flour and mix thoroughly. Cover and let rise 1 1/2 hours. Stir down. Fill greased muffin cups 1/2 full. Spread surface of dough lightly with soft butter or margarine; cover. Let rise 45 minutes. Sprinkle with poppy seeds. Bake in preheated 375-degree oven for 25 minutes. Yield: 12 servings
