I am a young culinary school student with a love for eating healthy. I am on my way to becoming a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and I love sharing with others through my food blog "Koko's Kitchen". My mission is to create delicious, healthy food that your palette and your body will love. I also try to make unhealthy recipes more nutritious, because I know that everyone must indulge once in awhile!
I've been a vegetarian for about 10 years now, so I love to eat foods like quinoa, lentils, big salads, and plenty of veggies! I do eat seafood though, and I absolutely love it- lobster, crab, halibut, scallops, you name it!
I try to make dishes that look and taste great, so no one even notices that they are healthy or vegetarian/vegan! Teaching people about unique, healthful ingredients and how to make them taste their best is so much fun!

I like to read everything I can about cooking because I think there is always something more to be learned. I love to sit down and read my culinary textbooks, cookbooks, food blogs, and food magazines like Bon Appetit. Of course I watch the Food Network, too! All of these provide inspiration and let me learn about new trends in the industry. My mom is a great cook and though our styles of cooking are quite different, she has taught me a lot.
