Acerca de mí
I started cooking when I was 10, I made "Tequenos" (white fresh cheese wrapped in a flaky buttery dough , one of our family favorite treats) with my grandmother , it was a memorable experience . Later on , as I got older she started letting me help her more and more around the kitchen. I tried to learn everything I could when I was with her and I am so glad that I did. After becoming the mother of two beautiful children I decided to go to Culinary school and pursue a career on the field. I have always love to cook and make people happy with my food. I like to cook dishes that are not only tasty and look appetizing but that also will nourish your buddy in some way or another.
I prefer to cook everything from scratch and using the best fresh ingredients that I can afford and find. I love to go to the Farmer's Markets and buy big amounts of peaches or tomatoes and make sauces or pies and give some away and eat the rest. Tropical ingredients are very dear to my heart since I grew up near the tropics and I try to implement them into my recipes every chance I got.
