Acerca de mí
I love my nuwave and have owned it 6 years now. I have a lot of recipes I have converted (mine) to Nuwave. Normally I take my recipes that are baked at 350 degrees and then cut the cooking time in half. When I make it the first time I watch it cook. Cooking it half the orginial recipe and make sure it is not browning to fast. If so I add foil over to the of casaroles and cakes. If the cooking time is longer than 20 minutes. Then remove the foil half way though the cooking process. My friends call me the Nuwave lady. Well, I use it almost everyday and love it! Honestly, when my friends saw the gadget worked they all wanted one. For me, it makes my life so much easier and I can cook from frozen! That was the "hook" for me. Honestly I forget to remove items from the freezer and I come home and there used to be nothing "thawed" to eat. My Nuwave has made my life healthy and easier & faster! Who knew fast food was good and easy?
Influencias de Cocina
Graham Kerr (he was funny and could cook). Yes, I remember him jumping over the couch. I was able to meet him when he had a cooking show in Seattle after his wife Trenia had health issues. He changed his way of cooking to "healthy". We all seem to love and adore Paula Deen, how can you resist her? Butter, everywhere - I might not cook like her everyday. She makes us smile and reminds us of what really good comfort food it all about! Bobby Flay - yes I do like the food network! Bobby shows us good cooking is all with in our reach. He breaks it down for us non-chef's. His sauces are out of this world! Normally not hard to make either! Who can forget Guy! You just want to give the man hug! He is funny and can cook normal down home food like we can!

Elaine - 29 de Noviembre de 2010Hi Wendy,
I just printed your recipe for Nuwave Garlic Chicken Parmigiana and can't wait to try it. What temperature did you cook it at the first time around?
Jackie - 10 de Noviembre de 2010Hi Wendy!
I want to try the Peach Dump Cake, but your recipe kind of confused me. One of the ingredients was a 16oz. Peaches (plural) pie filling and then in the directions, you say to use the peaches undrained.... I'm wondering if it's really 16 oz. can of undrained peaches?? And then you mention "pineapple" in the directions but they aren't included in the ingredients!
I just got my NuWave last week-end and I love it with meats, but I sure hope it works for cakes!
Can't wait to see more of your recipes. I'm looking..... - 15 de Agosto de 2010Hi there, I brought my nuwave in July. I will come a follower. Your recipes sound great. Thanks for the tin foil for cakes. I used it for muffins
- 22 de Mayo de 2010There are many I have posted here. The other place to find my other recipes - ahem recipezaar if you plug in Nuwave you will find a lot of recipes from me over the years.
- 10 de Mayo de 2010I just bought my Nu Wave oven...looking for first time recipes...any suggestions? Thanks
- 09 de Mayo de 2010Kim, sorry I did not get back to you sooner I think it is 3-5 minutes per pound. It has been a while since I tried to cook a ham. I might advise you to cover it unless you like a crisp outide. The ones I have tried are already pre-cooked and ready to serve. I would take the tin foil off 3/4 of the way though cooking times.
- 02 de Abril de 2010I want to cook a 3-5lb ham in my NUWAVE oven. Not sure how much time per lb or if it has glaze how much time to cook it. I love my oven and cook as much as I can in it but I am always looking for new recipes. It doesn't come with many practical ones. Thanks

- 29 de Enero de 2010Hello Wendy I was given a turbo nu wave /Flavourwave for xmas from my husband. I absolutely love it. I am still trying out new things in it, but so far I am very happy. The only thing is that it didnt come with many recipes, so I am very interested in finding some. I am about to try some of yours, so I will let you know how I go. Do you know if you can cook cornbeef in the oven, I have been told that you can, but cannot find a recipe for it. Many Thanks1 reply
- 26 de Enero de 2010Love the idea that you share your recipes for the Nu Wave Oven. I was wondering if you ever made boneless pork loin chops in the Nu Wave? I have not found one recipes for them. I am not sure way....all the receipes are for bake or pan frying. So it would be helpful if you know how to cook them in the NuWave. Thank you
- 05 de Enero de 2010Wendy...thanks for sharing so many great recipes in such a short time. They look awesome!
- 09 de Mayo de 2010Not so sure about selling the recipes - just ones I have come up with over the years. I still try to convert regular recipes - cakes just do not seem to make the cut in the nuwave oven. They figured out the pizza problem and have a flipper and a pizza pan now when you buy a new one. I still have my orginial nuwave 6 years old now and still going strong. Working on making tortillas today. I will let you know the "results".
- 04 de Enero de 2010Wendy, You should put together a recipe book and sell it. You have some great recipes. (way better than what comes with the oven)1 reply

- 03 de Enero de 2010Thank you so much Wendy. How wonderful of you to take the time to share your recipes with us. I have a question about the corned beef Mac & cheese...The ingredients were posted twice. once in the ingredients and then again under the directions. Could you please tell me how to cook this. I am dying to try it.
Thanks so much. april - 31 de Diciembre de 2009NuWave Lady : )
I just got one for Christmas... What should I cook first? I am nervous to cook the first time!
Jennifer - 27 de Diciembre de 2009Hi Wendy,
Thank you for posting some really nice recipes for the NuWave.
I just purchased mine but have already made stuffed pork chops with garlic potatoes, stuffed salmon with asparagus and a seafood quiche. All came out perfectly by using your suggestion of cutting the cooking time in 1/2 than that of a conventional oven.
Me thinks I will try your recipe for the Cuban Hamburgers tonight as they sound GREAT!!
Happy New Year
John
