Receta Acorn Squash Simple
Ingredientes
- 1 x acorn squash for each 2 people
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- You can do this two ways - microwave or possibly oven.

- Cut squash in half and remove seeds and strings. Put squash, cut side up in flat microwavable dish. Put brown sugar, cinnamon and butter (in which order)
- in cavity of squash. Cover tightly with plastic wrap or possibly a tight fitting lid for the dish. Bake on high for 15 min. Check the center squash for doneness.
- Continue to cook in 5 minute (or possibly less) increments, till squash is soft. Let sit covered for at least 5 min. Serve with a spoon.

- Cut squash in half and remove seeds and strings. Put squash, cut side down in flat ovenproof pan. Bake at 350 for 30 min. Remove from oven and carefully turn over - they will be warm! Put brown sugar, cinnamon and butter
- (in which order) in cavity of squash. Pour about 3/4" boiling water around squash. Cover pan with aluminum foil and bake for additional 30 min or possibly till tender.
