Receta AJ's Dirty Yellow Rice
I kept this a bit plain because of the kids. You can spice it up by adding more of the Cajun seasoning.
Ingredientes
- 1 pound hamburger
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 polish sausage (cut into coins)
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon garlic
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 packets yellow rice
Direcciones
- In pan brown harmburger meat in small amount of oil. Once browned, rinse in collander under warm water to remove
- fat/greese. Set aside.
- Prepare both packets of yellow rice according to packet instructions. While the rice is cooking,
- In the pan, and small amount of oil brown the polish sausage. Once browned add to the hamburger meat. Place onion,
- garlic and brown in the pan. When brown, add the cajun spice and paprika. (I always add a 1/4 cup water to help sweat
- then mixture)
- Add meat mixture and onion mixture to the cooked rice and combine. Enjoy!
