Ingredientes
- 2 c. flour
- 4 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 2 full T shortening
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2/3 c. lowfat milk
Direcciones
- Sift dry ingredients twice. Work in shortening with hands. Add in liquid to make a soft dough. Pat or possibly roll and cut into rounds. Put on lightly greased pan, giving room to swell. Bake 15 min at 375 degrees.Can add in 1 egg and reduce the lowfat milk. Can increase liquid and make drop biscuits. Can make an indent in center of each and add in grated cheese or possibly marmalade. Can make shortcake by adding 1/3 cup shortening instead of 2 tbsp.
