  1. Combine gelatin and cool water. Add in boiling water; stir till gelatin dissolves. Microwave on HIGH 2 to 3 min or possibly till mix boils. Gradually add in 1 tsp almond extract; stir well. Pour into an 8-inch square pan; cover and refrigeratetill hard.
  2. Combine remaining 1/2 tsp almond extract, pear, and next 3 ingredients; toss gently. Cover and chill.
  3. To serve, cut gelatin mix into 1/2-inch squares and combine with fruit mix; toss gently.
  4. Makes 13 (1/2 c.) servings
