Receta Almond Snowcap Cookies

Ingredientes
- 3/4 c. Margarine softened
- 3/4 c. Powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 c. Flour
- 3/4 c. Raspberry jam
- 3 x Egg whites
- 3/4 c. Sugar
- 1 c. Sliced almonds
- 1/2 c. Shredded coconut
Direcciones
- In bowl, cream margarine and powdered sugar till light. Blend in flour. Press proportionately over bottom of a 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 -16 min, till set. Spread jam over warm baked crust.
- In bowl, beat egg whites till foamy. Continue to beat, adding granulated sugar, 1 Tbsp. at a time till egg whites form soft peaks and are glossy. Mix in 1/2 c. nuts. Spread over jam layer. Sprinkle with remaining nuts and coconut. Bake at 350 degrees. Cold and cut into bars.
