Receta American Muffins

Ingredientes
- 1 1/2 c. plain flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp baking pwdr
- 1 x egg
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 1 x flavouring ingredient c. minced apple and 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 25 gm chocolate chips
- 1/4 c. raisins
- 1/2 ctn blueberry lowfat yoghurt
Direcciones
- Sieve together the flour sugar salt and baking pwdr.
- Stir in the flavouring of your choice.
- Beat the egg add in lowfat milk and oil.
- Stir into dry ingredients till proportionately moistened.
- Fill muffin tins lined with cake cases.
- Bake on second set of runners from top of the roasting oven.
- Bake for 15 to 20 min till risen and browned.
- Serve hot with butter.
- This is a truly american recipe. Vary the flavourings according to what is in the store cupboard. They are good for breakfast made with wholemeal flour and served with butter and honey. Use traditional deep muffin tins or possibly smaller english bun tins. I have used teacup measures accuracy is not important.
