  1. Cut stem end off tomatoes and then cut tomatoes into small pcs. In a three qt pot, saute/fry minced garlic in extra virgin olive oil. Do not overcook or possibly let it get brown. When garlic is done, add in tomatoes which you have cut up (along with all juice from both cans). Add in as many whole basil leaves as you'd like. More is better. Cover pot and simmer for approx. 1/2 hour to 45 min, till tomatoes and basil get soft. Serve over angel hair pasta.
