  1. Cream together the powdered sugar and butter. Add in egg, salt and vanilla and beat together at high speed for 10-15 min. Spread in bottom of pie shell and chill. Whip the cream till stiff. Blend in the liquid removed pineapple and nuts.
  2. Spread over mix in pie shell and refrigerateagain. This pie freezes well.
  3. Note: You can use 8 (10 ounce) whipped topping instead of the whipping cream.
