Receta Apple Cider Chicken Stew

Ingredientes
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp grnd cloves
- 2 tsp oil
- 1 1/2 lb boneless skinless chicken breast halves cubed
- 1 x 14 oz can tomatoes peeled and minced
- 1 x onion minced
- 1 c. apple cider
- 1/2 c. apple minced
- 2 tsp dry basil
- 1 tsp orange zest grated
Direcciones
- Combine the flour, pepper and clove in a large plastic bag. Shake chicken a few pcs at a time in the flour till lightly coated. In a heavy, non-stick skillet or possibly wok, heat oil on Medium heat. Add in chicken and brown till the flesh turns white on all sides. Remove to pan. In same skillet, add in tomatoes, onion, minced apple and cider. Bring to a simmer, then add in chicken and simmer, covered for 20 min. Add in basil and orange zest.
- Simmer, uncovered for 5 min. more.
