  1. Method:1. Peel apples and pears, and cut them into 1/2 inch cubes. Combine with dry cranberries, 1 Tbsp. flour, honey, and lemon juice. Place this mix in a greased 8 inch baking dish.
  2. 2. Blend together till crumbly 1/2 c. flour, brown sugar, oats, nuts, and butter. Don't over mix. Sprinkle flour mix loosely over fruit.
  3. 3. Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) till brown and crisp on top, about 45 min.
  4. Makes 1 crisp
  5. This is a variation of the traditional Apple Crisp which I dreamed up one day when I didn't have sufficient apples and there were pears in the fruit bowl and leftover toasted hazelnuts from something else. We love it.
