Receta Applesauce Cake Circa 1943

Ingredientes
- 1/2 c. Vegetable shortening
- 1 c. Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Cloves
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 x Egg
- 1 c. Applesauce
- 2 c. All-purpose flour
- 2/3 c. Raisins -- minced
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 2/3 c. Walnut meats -- minced
Direcciones
- Cream together shortening and sugar. Add in egg; beat well. Sift together flour, soda, salt, cloves, and cinnamon. Add in alternately with applesauce to creamed mix. Add in raisins and nutmeats. Pour into 9-inch greased tube pan. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) for 1 hour. Let stand till cool.
