A grilled chicken breast brushed with a home made honey mustard sauce, then topped with sauteed Mushrooms, bacon, and melted Swiss Cheese

  • 4 Skinless, Boneless Chicken breasts
  • 4 Slices Swiss
  • 8 Slices Bacon-Cooked
  • 2 Cups Sliced mushrooms-Cooked
  • 1/2 Cup Yellow Mustard
  • 1/2 Cup honey
  • 1/4 Cup Mayo
  • 1/4 Corn Syrup
  • 2 tbsp onion

  1. Grill the Chicken Breast til done.Preheat oven at 200 while it cooks, Heat the mustard, honey, mayo, syrup and onion in a small pan til Smooth. When Chicken Breasts are done. Dip breasts into sauce. Place in a single layer on a cooking sheet. place 1/2 Cup cooked mushrooms on each chicken, then top each one with two slices of cooked bacon. Top with Swiss. Then put into preheated oven til cheese is a light brown and fully Melted.

    THis is the recipe that I use at the restaurant where I work, we've found people who come in don't want to eat chicken off the bone but when I make it at home, I make it with the Bone in and with Spicy Monterey jack cheese

      Aussie Chicken is a favorite of mine. May I be so bold as to suggest for a different twist, I use chicken thighs and saute them in a bit of the bacon fat..oh, my...and I use 2 cups of shredded Colby-Monterey Jack cheese instead of Swiss. Thanks for your version.
