  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees
  2. In an oven safe frying pan saute the onions and garlic in the oil until they are soft.
  3. Add the uncooked rice and toss the mixture lightly
  4. Stir in the broth, thyme, bay leaf and oregano.
  5. Cover with a close-fitting lid and place it in the oven for 17 minutes.
  6. Discard the bay leaf and enjoy!
