Ingredientes
- 8 x Dry, pitted dates, Coarsely minced
- 1/4 c. Orange juice
- 1 lrg Banana, peeled & sliced
- 1 Tbsp. Unsalted butter
- 1 Tbsp. Fresh lemon juice
Direcciones
- Combine the dates and the juice in a 2 c. measure and cover, microwaving on full power till the dates are soft, about 3 min. Let them cold, uncovered, for about 2 min. Then tip them into a processor or possibly a blender along with the banana, butter and lemon juice and whiz till the texture is smooth but flecks of date still remain.
- Serve at room temperature or possibly chilled on waffles, whole-wheat English muffins or possibly rice cakes.
- Stores covered and refrigerated for up to four days; makes 2/3 c..
