Receta Banana - Date Nut Bread

Ingredientes
- 1 3/4 c. flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 c. shortening, butter
- 1 c. mashed bananas (2 med.)
- 1 c. pitted dates, minced
- 1 c. walnuts, minced
- 2 egg, slightly beaten
Direcciones
- Grease and flour 8 x 4 1/2 inch loaf pan. In large bowl with fork mix first 5 ingredients, cut in shortening till mix resembles coarse crumbs. With fork stir in bananas, dates, walnuts and large eggs just till blended. Spread batter evenly in pan. Bake 1 hour 15 min. Cool in pan on wire rack 10 min. Remove; cool; makes 1 loaf.
