I am always on a quest for healthy, filling, muffins. This recipe is great before or after working out, or for a filling snack.

  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup Splenda sugar substitute
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 egg whites
  • 3 bananas (ripe and mashed)
  • 1/3 cup skim milk
  • 1 cup applesauce
  • 4 tablespoons Vanilla Whey Protein Powder (Or 4 big scoops that come with the bag/can if you want more protein per serving)

Direcciones

  1. Bake at 400 degrees.
  2. Grease muffin tins with spray.
  3. Combine all dry ingredients into a bowl and mix together.
  4. In a bowl, beat egg whites with a whisk or fork.
  5. Stir in mashed banana, applesauce, and milk. Add flour mixture and stir together. Then spoon into muffin tins.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Cool in pan for 5 minutes then remove and cool for desired amount of time.
