Receta Banana Protein Muffins
I am always on a quest for healthy, filling, muffins. This recipe is great before or after working out, or for a filling snack.
Ingredientes
- 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1/4 cup Splenda sugar substitute
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 egg whites
- 3 bananas (ripe and mashed)
- 1/3 cup skim milk
- 1 cup applesauce
- 4 tablespoons Vanilla Whey Protein Powder (Or 4 big scoops that come with the bag/can if you want more protein per serving)
Direcciones
- Bake at 400 degrees.
- Grease muffin tins with spray.
- Combine all dry ingredients into a bowl and mix together.
- In a bowl, beat egg whites with a whisk or fork.
- Stir in mashed banana, applesauce, and milk. Add flour mixture and stir together. Then spoon into muffin tins.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes. Cool in pan for 5 minutes then remove and cool for desired amount of time.
