Receta Barley & Almonds

Ingredientes
- 5 tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. slivered almonds
- 1 med. onion, minced
- 1 c. pearled barley
- 1/2 c. chopped parsley
- 2 cans chicken broth
- 1/4 c. chopped chives
- Fresh pepper to taste
Direcciones
- Rinse barley in cool water and drain. Saute/fry nuts in 2 Tbsp. butter till golden brown. Add in remaining butter and saute/fry barley and onion till tender. Add in remaining ingredients. Heat broth to boiling and pour over barley. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour and 10 min, uncovered.
