Ingredientes
- 2 c. water
- 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp turmeric
- 1 c. long-grain rice
- 2 med tomatoes seeded and minced (2 c.)
- 2 Tbsp. finely minced onion
- 2 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp chopped jalapeno chile
- 1/4 tsp grated lime peel
- 1 Tbsp. chili pwdr
- 1 Tbsp. cumin
- 1 Tbsp. packed dark brown sugar
- 1 1/4 tsp salt divided
- 1 pch grnd cloves
- 1 lb flank steak
- 4 x burrito-sized tortillas (10-inch)
- 1 sm bunch green onions halved in 3" pcs

- A new family favorite: spice-rubbed steak wrapped in a tortilla with rice and a refreshing salsa.
- 1. Make Yellow Rice: Bring all ingredients except rice to a boil in 2-qt saucepan. Stir in rice; reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer 20 min till rice is tender.
- 2. Make Tomato-Lime Salsa: Combine ingredients in bowl. Set aside.
- 3. Heat grill or possibly broiler. Make Spice Rub: Combine all ingredients in c.; rub on both sides of steak.
- 4. Grill steak 6 to 7 min per side for medium-rare. Transfer to cutting board; cover with foil; let stand 5 - 10 min. Cut into thin slices.
- 5. To assemble: Heat tortillas according to package directions. Fill each with one quarter of rice in center. Divide and arrange green onions next to rice. Divide steak and arrange slices next to green onions. Spoon 2 generous Tbsp. salsa over each. Mix in sides and tightly roll up. Cut wraps in half on an angle.
