Receta Best Buttermilk Waffles

Ingredientes
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 8 tbsp. melted butter or possibly shortening
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 4 Large eggs, separated
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Direcciones
- Mix dry ingredients. Add in egg yolks to lowfat milk and blend well. Add in dry ingredients, mix together. Add in melted butter and beat with a few quick strokes, mix in beaten egg whites. Bake in waffle iron till golden brown. Can add in fruits such as blueberries, strawberries, minced apple and nuts for variety. Serves 4-6.
