  • 1 pkg. chocolate cake mix (German chocolate preferable but mint is also good)
  • 1 sm. can evaporated lowfat milk
  • 2/3 c. butter
  • 1 pkg. caramels
  • 12 ounce chocolate chips

  2. Mix chocolate cake mix, 1/3 cup evaporated lowfat milk and 2/3 cup melted butter. Take 1/2 and pat in 9 x 13 cake pan. Bake 6 to 8 min. Set aside. In pan heat 1/3 cup evaporated lowfat milk and 1 package Kraft caramels. When smooth, add in 12 ounce chocolate chips. Spread caramel mix on cooled dough. Let cool. Carefully spread other 1/2 of dough on top of cooled caramel mix. Bake 20 min at 350 degrees. Cut while warm. The hardest part is unwrapping the caramels and making sure they all go into the pan and not the mouth!
