Receta Biscuits Made With Yeast

Ingredientes
- 5 c. plain flour, sifted
- 3/4 c. shortening
- 3 tbsp. sugar
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. hot water
- 2 c. buttermilk
Direcciones
- Cream sugar and shortening. Add in flour and mix till very fine. Dissolve yeast in 1/2 c. hot water for 5 min. Add in yeast and water and buttermilk all at once. Mix till dough forms. Knead dough lightly about 20 times. Lightly grease a 10 x 3 inch pan. Allow to rise 1 1/2 hrs. Roll out and form into biscuits. Place on pan. Bake 10-15 min at 400 degrees or possibly till golden on top.
