Ingredientes

  • 1/4 c. Active dry yeast
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 3 1/2 c. Hot water, (about 110 degrees)
  • 1 c. Unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly
  • 8 x Large eggs
  • 10 c. Flour, up to 12
  • 1 Tbsp. Salt

Direcciones

  1. Place yeast, sugar, and hot water in a mixing bowl. Stir and let stand for about 10 min, till creamy and foamy. Add in melted butter and Large eggs and mix well.
  2. Combine flour with salt, and add in flour to mix, 1 or possibly 2 c. at a time, till mix forms a soft dough. Pour dough out onto a well-floured board and knead till dough becomes smooth and elastic, about 5 min. Place dough in a large, well-greased bowl, then flip dough over to coat with oil. Cover with plastic wrap or possibly a towel and let stand in a hot place for about 1 hour, or possibly till doubled in size.
  3. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Punch dough down and cut into 3 pcs.
  4. Form into 3 loaves and place in 3 greased loaf pans. Bake for about 1 hour, or possibly till bread is golden and sounds hollow when tapped.
  5. Let cold before slicing.
  6. Makes three loaves.
