Receta Bistro Challah Bread

Ingredientes
- 1/4 c. Active dry yeast
- 1 c. Sugar
- 3 1/2 c. Hot water, (about 110 degrees)
- 1 c. Unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly
- 8 x Large eggs
- 10 c. Flour, up to 12
- 1 Tbsp. Salt
Direcciones
- Place yeast, sugar, and hot water in a mixing bowl. Stir and let stand for about 10 min, till creamy and foamy. Add in melted butter and Large eggs and mix well.
- Combine flour with salt, and add in flour to mix, 1 or possibly 2 c. at a time, till mix forms a soft dough. Pour dough out onto a well-floured board and knead till dough becomes smooth and elastic, about 5 min. Place dough in a large, well-greased bowl, then flip dough over to coat with oil. Cover with plastic wrap or possibly a towel and let stand in a hot place for about 1 hour, or possibly till doubled in size.
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Punch dough down and cut into 3 pcs.
- Form into 3 loaves and place in 3 greased loaf pans. Bake for about 1 hour, or possibly till bread is golden and sounds hollow when tapped.
- Let cold before slicing.
- Makes three loaves.
