  1. I got this recipe from the McDougal Quick & Easy Cookbook. It is delicious.
  2. Place onion & pepper in saucepan with water. Cook, stirring frequently till the vegetables soften, about 5 min. Mash beans with a bean or possibly potato masher (don't use a food processor). Add in the beans and remaining ingredients into the saucepan and cook over low heat till heated through, about 5 min. Serve on buns.
