Receta Blue Cheese Wafers

Ingredientes
- 1 c. crumbled blue cheese (4 ounce., room temp.)
- 1/4 c. butter, softened
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. walnut pcs, finely minced

- In small mixing bowl, combine cheese and butter. Cream till fluffy. Fold in flour and walnuts to blend thoroughly. Form into a log about 2" in diameter and 12" long. Wrap in wax paper. Refrigeratetill hard, about 1 hour. Cut log into slices, 1/4" thick. Place 1/2" apart on baking sheets. Bake in 375 degree oven 12 to 14 min, just till bottoms are lightly browned.
- Transfer to racks to cold. Store in air tight container. Serve for dessert with fresh fruit and a selection of cheeses. This kitchen tested recipe may be doubled. Store logs securely wrapped in freezer up to 1 month. Store in refrigerator up to 1 week. Slice and bake as needed.
