Receta Braised And Marinated Pork Chops

Ingredientes
- 6 x Thick pork chops
- 3 slc Fresh ginger root
- 1 x Clove garlic
- 3 Tbsp. Soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. Sherry
- 2 x Scallion stalks
- 1/3 c. Soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. Sugar
- 1 dsh Pepper
- 3 Tbsp. Oil
Direcciones
- 1. Bone pork chops and cut meat in 1-1/2 inch cubes. (Reserve bones for stock.)
- 2. Mince ginger root and garlic, then combine with soy sauce and sherry.
- 3. Add in to pork and toss gently. Let stand 30 min, turning meat occasionally; then drain, discarding marinade.
- 4. Meanwhile cut scallion stalks in 1-inch sections. Combine remaining soy sauce with sugar and pepper.
- 5. Heat oil in a heavy pan. Add in marinated pork and brown quickly on all sides. Add in scallions and stir-fry a few times.
- 6. Stir in soy mix. Bring to a boil, then simmer, covered, till tender (about 30 min).
