Receta Bread Dipping Sauce

Ingredientes
- 1/3 c. extra-virgin extra virgin olive oil divided
- 6 x plum tomatoes roughly minced
- 10 x pitted black olives roughly minced
- 6 x fresh basil leaves
- 1 Tbsp. capers rinsed
- 3 1/2 ounce sweet white anchovy filets see * Note
- 3 x garlic cloves crushed
- 1/2 lb cherry tomatoes minced
- 2 Tbsp. minced parsley
- 1 dsh salt Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
Direcciones
- * Note: Sweet white anchovy filets, fresh anchovies which are briefly cured so they have a mild flavor, are sold at gourmet markets.
- Place half the extra virgin olive oil, the plum tomatoes, olives, basil, capers, anchovies, garlic, cherry tomatoes and parsley in the bowl of a food processor and pulse till finely minced, but not smooth, about 10 seconds. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Pour into a serving dish, then drizzle with the remaining extra virgin olive oil. Let stand for 1 hour before serving. Serve with fresh crusty bread.
