Receta Broccoli, Sizzled Garlic and Onion
Absolutely delicious and so easy! You won't believe how good this tastes with so few ingredients.
Ingredientes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 Tbls minced garlic
- 1 large onion, quartered then sliced
- 1 lb bag frozen broccoli">broccoli or broccoli">broccoli and carrots
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- salt to taste
- grilled chicken breasts (optional)
- jar of Classic Alfredo sauce (optional)
- pasta, your choice (optional)
Direcciones
- Cook garlic and onion in oil in a heavy skillet over moderately high heat, stirring, until sizzling and slightly wilted, about 5 minutes. Add broccoli, pepper flakes and salt. Stir frequently, until broccoli is tender but not wilted, about 5 minutes. Serve.
- Note: Can also add grilled chicken breasts (or other choice of grilled meat) into broccoli and stir for 1-2 minutes. Like pasta? Add a jar of Classic Alfredo sauce (any brand) when adding meat. Pour over pre-cooked pasta of your choice. Yum
