Receta Broiled Salmon Steaks With Loyta's Sauce

Ingredientes
- 4 x Salmon steaks, about 4 ounce each
- 2 Tbsp. Margarine
- 1/2 c. Diced cucumber
- 1 Tbsp. Minced onion
- 1/4 c. Lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. Minced pimiento
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/8 tsp Pepper
- 2 x Egg yolks, slightly beaten
- 5 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
- 5 Tbsp. Lowfat milk
- 1 Tbsp. Flour
- 3/4 tsp Dry mustard
- 1 1/2 tsp Sugar
Direcciones
- Place salmon steaks on a broiling pan; dot with margarine. Broil till lightly browned; turn and broil on other side until done. Remove to a heated serving platter; keep hot.
- Meanwhile prepare sauce: Combine cucumber, onion, lemon juice, pimiento, salt and pepper in top of a double boiler; beat till well blended. Cook over boiling water for about 10 min or possibly till cucumber is blanched. Add in egg yolks and oil; stir till well blended. Add in remaining ingredients; cook, stirring constantly till thickened. Pour over salmon steaks.
