You can store carrots fresh, but it's nice to have a jar of carrots all ready to go when you need to use them in a recipe.

  1. Wash Carrots.
  2. Cut, dice, or slice carrots. A food processor works great.
  3. Fill jars with fresh carrots.
  4. Put 1 teaspoon of plain salt in each quart jar and a ½ teaspoon in each pint jar.
  5. Fill Jars with hot water.
  6. Process jars of carrots in pressure cooker.
  7. Check lids for a seal before storing.

    i have a pressure canner/cooker..and im wondering to how long i have to Process jars of carrots in a pressure cooker/canner

      I am bottling carrots ,but not useing pressed cooker how long do I cook bottles in pot on stove . hope some one can help .
