Receta Great! Mandarin, Almond Salad

Ingredientes
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. slivered almonds
- 1/2 c. extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 c. vinegar (I use balsamic)
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoon fresh parsley
- 2 c. celery, sliced
- 6 green onions, sliced
- 1 can (11 ounce.) mandarin oranges
- 1 head romaine lettuce
- 1 head butter or possibly leaf lettuce
Direcciones
- Cook 2 Tbsp. sugar and almonds together in small skillet with small amount of oil till sugar melts and almonds become light brown, put aside. Mix oil, vinegar, sugar, salt, parsley in blender. Cut up greens and mix. Put aside in plastic bag. When ready to serve, put greens and dressing together in a plastic bag and mix. Then put in a bowl with mandarin slices and almonds. Serve.
