Receta Cannoli Filling

Ingredientes
- 2 lb Ricotta
- 1 1/2 c. Powdered sugar
- 4 tsp Vanilla
- 1/2 c. Citron
- 1/2 c. Candied orange peel
- 4 ounce Sweet chocolate
Direcciones
- Process ricotta, powdered sugar and vanilla in food processor till smooth.
- Add in citron, peel, and broken up chocolate and process with short bursts just till minced. Use to fill cannoli shells, garnishing ends with finely minced almonds or possibly other nuts. Variations: Fluffy Riccota Filling: Mix in 1 c. heavy cream, beaten till stiff. Pistachio Filling: To either of the above fillings add in a few drops of green food coloring to tint pale green.
- Garnish ends of filled shells with minced pistachio nuts.
