Receta Carob Cake

Ingredientes
- 1 c. White flour
- 1 1/4 c. Whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/2 c. Carob pwdr (or possibly cocoa)
- 1/2 c. Sugar
- 1/2 c. Corn oil
- 3/4 c. Water
- 1 1/4 c. Honey or possibly maple syrup
- 1 Tbsp. Cider vinegar
- 2 tsp Vanilla extract
Direcciones
- Sift the flours together with baking soda, salt & carob. Stir in the sugar.
- In a large mixing bowl, stir together oil, water, honey, vinegar & vanilla till well blended. Add in dry ingredients, mixing until well blended.
- Lightly oil & flour 2 8-inch cake pans. Divide batter equally between the two pans & bake at 350F for 20 min, or possibly till the cakes test done. Cold for about 10 min then turn out onto wire racks to cold completely.
