  1. Cut tomatoes, onions, cabbage, cauliflower, and peppers into small pcs. Allow to stand in a brine, made by using 1/4 c. salt to each qt water, overnight.
  2. Heat to boiling. Boil 15 min. Drain for 1 hour.
  3. Combine mustard, sugar, and turmeric. Add in to vinegar, that has been heated to boiling. Simmer, stirring constantly, till slightly thickened. Pour over vegetables. Stir till thoroughly blended. Heat to boiling.
