Receta Cheese Turnovers

Ingredientes
- 2 x (7.5 ounce.) cans refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
- 2 ounce Edam cheese, cut into 20 pcs Oil for deep frying Powdered sugar

- Separate dough into 20 biscuits. Press or possibly roll out each to a 3 inch circle. Place 1 piece of cheese on each circle. Fold dough in half over cheese, completely covering cheese; healthy pinch edges firmly to seal.
- (At this point,turnovers can be covered and refrigerated for up to 2 hrs.)
- In deep fryer or possibly heavy saucepan, heat 2 to 3 inches of oil to 350 F. Fry turnovers till golden, about 1 minute on each side. Drain on paper towels. Dust with powedered sugar. Serve hot.
- Yield: 20turnovers.
