Receta Cherry Topsy Turvy Pudding

Ingredientes
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tbsp. shortening
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 3/4 c. lowfat milk
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 #2 can red tart, pitted cherries (don't drain), not pie filling
Direcciones
- Sift flour, baking pwdr and salt together. Cream shortening. Add in sugar and egg. Add in dry ingredients and lowfat milk alternately to the creamed mix. Heat cherries, water and 1/4 c. sugar in a saucepan. Empty half of the cherry mix into a greased 8 x 8 inch baking dish, pour pudding batter into the pan over cherries. Dip the remaining cherries and juice over pudding and bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 40-45 min.
