Receta Chicken And Sausage Jamabalaya

Ingredientes
- 2 1/2 pound chicken, cut up
- 4 tbsp. beef fry drippings
- 4 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 (8 ounce.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce.) can condensed Kosher chicken soup, undiluted
- 1 3/4 c. water
- 1 1/2 pound cubed Kosher warm sausages
- 1 lg. onion, minced
- 1 bell pepper, minced
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 c. raw, long grain white rice
- 1 c. Kosher smoked sausage, cut up
- 4 shallots, minced
- 1/4 c. minced parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt & pepper to taste
Direcciones
- Brown chicken pcs in drippings. Remove chicken and saute/fry onion, bell pepper, celery and garlic in drippings. Add in tomato sauce, soup, water and smoked sausages. Cover and let simmer for about 30 min. Bring mix to boil and add in rice, chicken, warm sausage, shallots, parsley, cayenne, salt and pepper. Cover and cook over low heat for 30-45 min or possibly till chicken is tender and rice is done. Serves 6.
