Receta Chicken And Yellow Rice

Ingredientes
- 1 x Chicken, cut up*
- 2 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 x Onion, halved, sliced thinly
- 2 x Garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 can Tomatoes
- 4 c. Water
- 3 x Bay leaves
- 2 tsp Salt
- 2 c. Rice, raw
- 1 pch Saffron
- 1 x Green pepper, minced
- 4 ounce Green peas, small
- 1 can Pimientos, small, sliced
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Cornstarch
Direcciones
- * Use chicken pcs as desired.
- Fry chicken in extra virgin olive oil with onions and garlic. When browned on both sides, add in tomatoes and water. Boil for 5 min. Add in bay leaf, salt, saffron, green pepper, paprika, and cornstarch. Cook over medium-low heat for about 15 min. Add in rice and cook for about 25 more min. If rice becomes dry, add in more water as needed. Add in peas and pimientos and cook for 10 more min.
