- Grease casserole dish. Cover casserole dish with rice. Add in dash of salt. Then add in chicken on rice with skin side up. Spoon cream of mushroom soup on top of chicken (salted). (Try to keep soup on the chicken because it will brown rice.) Add in 2 cans of water on rice. Cover and bake 1 hour. If rice starts to dry out add in more water and cook additional 15 min.
