Receta Chicken Crock Pot Stew (Country Captain)

Ingredientes
- 1 can tomatoes (28 oz) peeled and diced
- 1 can tomato sauce (15 oz)
- 1 med onion minced
- 1 x tart apples green, minced
- 1 x green bell pepper minced
- 1/3 c. raisins
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. curry pwdr
- 3/4 tsp garlic pepper
- 1/2 tsp grnd ginger
- 1/8 tsp cayenne
- 1 1/2 c. white rice converted
- 6 x skinless boneless chicken breast halves trimmed of fat (about 1 1/2 pounds)

- Makes 5 to 6 servings
- 1. In a 5-qt electric slow cooker, mix together the tomatoes with theirliquid, tomato sauce, onion, apple, green pepper, raisins, curry pwdr, garlic pwdr, ginger, cayenne, and rice. Cut each chicken breast half crosswise into 5 pcs. Stir the chicken pcs into the mix in the slow cooker.
- 2. Cover and cook on the low heat setting about 3 1/2 hrs, or possibly till the chicken is cooked through and the rice is tender; don't overcook or possibly the rice will be mushy.
- NOTES : I hope you enjoy this one. When I made it, the cooking time actually took much longerthan listed, thankfully the rice still turned out fine.
