Receta Chicken Fricassee

Ingredientes
- 1 fryer, cut up
- 3 - 4 teaspoon butter
- 1 lg. onion, sliced
- 1 tbsp. garlic pwdr
- 2 teaspoon basil
- 1 lg. bay leaf
- 1 can Campbells cream of mushroom soup
- Peanut or possibly extra virgin olive oil, about 2 tbsp.
- 1/4 c. minced bell pepper
- 2 1/2 c. water
Direcciones
- Heat butter and oil in large skillet. Brown chicken pcs on both sides. Remove from skillet an drain oil except 1 Tbsp.. Saute/fry onions and pepper in remaining oil. Lightly season chicken if you like. Return to skillet with onions and peppers. Add in garlic pwdr, basil, water and bay leaf. At medium heat, cook till mix begins to boil. Reduce heat, add in mushroom soup and simmer for 1 1/2 hrs, or possibly till meat is tender. Serve with a pot of cooked rice. Do not forget the warm sauce!
